Derek Woo

Derek is the union of two great kingdoms which went in two very different ways.
He is the son of Woo Yen Jet, the Eternal Khan of the Mongol Empire, a man better known as Jimmy Woo and a long time servant of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigations. He is the son of Namora, daughter of the sea and cousin to Namor, King of Atlantis.
Theirs was an odd relationship, but after the longtime separation from their own loved ones and their closeness working upon the Atlas Council (where they were known as the Agents of Atlas), love seemed an odd but fitting role for the two scions of nobility.
Their child, Woo Shi Yi or Derek Woo in common American vernacular, was and still is a rambunctious child, one who has not reached the accepted age of maturity within his home in the United States. He takes much after his two uncles Ken and Bob, an odd combination of intellect and whimsy that can at times make the boy seem wise beyond his years and within the same breath show his age with a outburst of nonsequiters. Not only that, but his isolation from the world at large with few exceptions, has made him a bit more awkward in social situations amongst peers, save for the handful of "cousins" the Agents of Atlas had produced in the time between their claiming of the Khans Banner and the present day.
